The viewing and getting your images
You’ll be invited back to the studio for a viewing session around a week after your photo shoot where I will help you choose the images included in your package.
At your viewing session, I’ll help you choose your favourites and talk you through digital options and artwork if you’d like it.
Your final digital images will be available within 2 days of your viewing, with artwork taking around 2 weeks to be delivered.

What ages are best for a family studio session?
Family sessions work beautifully at any age — from babies who can sit with support, right through to teens. If you have little ones under 1, we’ll keep things relaxed and follow their pace.
What should we wear for our family photos?
Neutral, soft tones photograph best (creams, beiges, soft blues, muted greens). Try to avoid big logos and strong neon colours. Keep it simple.
How long does the session last?
Most sessions last around 60 minutes. That gives us time to settle in, take a variety of portraits, and keep everything calm and un-rushed. We always allow a little bit of extra time in case we need to run a little longer.
Can we include siblings (and grandparents)?
Absolutely — siblings are always included. If you’d like to include grandparents too, let us know in advance so we can plan the session flow.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes — well-behaved pets are welcome. Just mention it when you enquire so we can plan the best time and keep things smooth for everyone.
Do you pose us? We’re not very comfortable in front of the camera.
You won’t be left guessing. We’ll guide you gently, with natural prompts and simple direction — nothing stiff or awkward.
Where is your studio? Is there parking?
Our studio is in Longton, near Preston. There’s free nearby parking — we’ll send full details nearer the time of your session.
What happens if the kids aren’t in the mood?
Totally normal. We work around little personalities — breaks are welcome, and we keep things playful and pressure-free.
How do we choose our images?
You’ll be invited back for a private viewing where you can see your images and choose your favourites at your own pace.
When will we see our photos?
Your private viewing is typically scheduled shortly after your session. If you need images by a certain date (gift, birthday, etc.), tell me and I’ll do our best to help.
Can we buy extra images or prints?
Yes. You can add extra digital images and choose beautiful print options and artwork at your viewing if you’d like to.
