Studio or outdoor — what’s best for your pet?

Your pet session can take place in our Longton studio (Preston) with clean backdrops, or outdoors at Brickcroft nature reserve if you’d prefer something more natural.

We’ll guide you to the best option based on your dog’s energy, confidence and the look you love.

How to prepare:

Bring high-value treats (the good stuff!)
Bring a favourite toy
If outdoors, bring a lead + poo bags + a towel just in case
Try to avoid a muddy walk right before the session (unless that’s the vibe)

The Viewing

After your photoshoot, you’ll be invited back around a week later for a relaxed viewing with a drink and snacks, and we’ll help you choose your favourites.

Where does the pet photoshoot take place?

We can either do the shoot at our photography studio in Longton, at the Brickcroft just around the corner or if you have somewhere in particular you’d like to use in Preston we’d be happy to accommodate.

My dog is nervous - is that okay?

Absolutely. We take it slow, give them time to sniff around, and work at their pace. No pressure, no rushing.

Can we bring treats and toys?

Yes please! Treats are basically our secret weapon.

Can more than one dog come?

Usually yes — tell us how many (and their personalities!) and we’ll plan it so it stays calm and fun.

Can we be in some of the photos too?

If you’d like a couple of images with you in them, we can absolutely do that – just let us know.

What if my dog can’t be off-lead outdoors?

No problem. We can shoot with a lead and keep things natural, and we’ll minimise anything distracting in the final images where possible.

Where is your studio? Is there parking?

Our studio is in Longton, near Preston. There’s free nearby parking — we’ll send full details nearer the time of your session.

When is the viewing?

Typically around a week after the session we’ll invite you back to view your photos.

Can we buy extra images or prints?

Yes. You can add extra digital images and choose beautiful print options and artwork at your viewing if you’d like to.
