Having a newborn photo session isn't just about capturing adorable snapshots of your little bundle of joy (although that's a big part of it!). It's also about freezing time on those precious early days when your baby is brand new to the world. They grow up so fast, and having professional photos taken allows you to preserve those fleeting moments in all their newborn glory.
Newborn Sessions

Our newborn sessions take place at our family photography studio in Longton, Preston.
A session can last up to 4 hours to make sure we get as many photos or your new bundle of joy as we can. You will have a choice of a wide range of backdrops, wraps and props at your disposal.
Newborn sessions will need to take place within the first two weeks of baby arriving to ensure that they aren’t to wriggly for the newborn poses.
The shoot includes posed newborn, basket and family shots all of which will be available to view at your viewing.
Newborn Lite

We also offer our ‘Newborn Lite’ for those not wanting the longer shoot, or for babies that are older than 2 weeks.
The session usually lasts around an hour and includes shots of baby in baskets and props. It doesn’t include the newborn images on the posing beanbag or family images.
Ideally the shoot will be within 4 weeks of baby arriving.
The Viewing
After your photo shoot you’ll be invited back to a viewing around a week after the session.
At the viewing you can sit back with a drink and some snacks, relax and we’ll help you choose which images you’d like, along with any products you’d like to order.
